Marianne is actually a very small, relatively flat granitic island. Its highest point, Estell Hill, measures around 130 meters above sea level. Many locals are actually fond of this island and were even more before. Because earlier the island was a former coconut plantation place. Though today the island is inhabitant, it is routinely visited by boaters and tourists. If lucky, one can also get the chance to watch the rare Seychelles paradise flycatcher bird.
And since the island is inhabitant, you can only visit the island with a full-day snorkeling tour starting from La Digue. One can directly book this tour from Liberty Charter, its only tour provider in Seychelles.
