The Marianne island in Seychelles is considered to be one of its most beautiful islands. Located near La Digue island, Marianne is very near to Felicite island. For example, with a boat ride, one can reach here in 20 min. It has an astonishingly beautiful long white sand beach to offer on its west side, which happens to be the only one there. Marianne is actually a very small, relatively flat granitic island. Its highest point, Estell Hill, measures around 130 meters above sea level. Many locals are actually fond of this island and were even more before. Because earlier the island was a former coconut plantation place. Though today the island is inhabitant, it is routinely visited by boaters and tourists. If lucky, one can also get the chance to watch the rare Seychelles paradise flycatcher bird.
